Collectible doll line picks up Activision deal

Coming out of the Licensing International Expo now underway in Las Vegas, MGA Entertainment, the toy company behind the line of collectible Lalaloopsy dolls, has granted Activision Publishing the exclusive worldwide rights to develop, manufacture and distribute video games based on Lalaloopsy characters.

Coming out of the Licensing International Expo now underway in Las Vegas, MGA Entertainment, the toy company behind the line of collectible Lalaloopsy dolls, has granted Activision Publishing the exclusive worldwide rights to develop, manufacture and distribute video games based on Lalaloopsy characters.

The deal covers entertainment software products across multiple platforms such as handheld, console and connected platforms, as well as PC and mobile devices.  The new Lalaloopsy video games are expected to hit the market by holiday 2011.
