Kidz goes big with Star Wars

Lucas Licensing has appointed Denmark-based integrated brand marketing agency Kidz Entertainment/EEMC to represent the Star Wars franchise across Eastern Europe and the Nordics.

Lucas Licensing has appointed Denmark-based integrated brand marketing agency Kidz Entertainment/EEMC to represent the Star Wars franchise across Eastern Europe and the Nordics.

The Kidz team will be working with key partners such as The Lego Group and Hasbro to bolster the brand’s position in the Nordics with the goal of making it the number-one boys’ property across the region.

Since the first Star Wars film launched in 1977, the franchise has grown into a multi-media presence that spans film, publishing, the web and interactive and television. In licensing terms, this has led to the creation of thousands of product lines across multiple sectors and Star Wars maintains a constant retail presence across the world.
