Canada’s Skywriter Media and Entertainment is keeping up with the pace of the eBook world with its own technology platform that transforms books and other intellectual properties into interactive eBook apps for iOS and other tablet devices.

Developed in-house by the company’s recently established eReading division, Skyreader Media, the patent-pending platform was created as a means to deliver Skywriter’s 200-hour library of TV content and more than 1,500 children’s book titles in a scalable fashion to eReaders around the world.

The company’s initial lineup of eBook apps includes Robo Buddy, aimed at kids ages five to nine, Coyote’s Tale, also for the same age group, the tween-oriented Banana Ninja and the science-based Mars Colony.
