Cars 2 revs up marketing on Gilt Groupe

New York-based online retailer Gilt Groupe's 3.5 million members are now privy to special Disney product sneak peeks thanks to a new collaboration with the House of Mouse.

New York-based online retailer Gilt Groupe’s 3.5 million members are now privy to special Disney product sneak peeks thanks to a new collaboration with the House of Mouse.

Gilt is offering shoppers special access to merchandise at insider prices and will feature ongoing Disney Consumer Products’ promotions on its Gilt Children portal, starting with exclusive Cars 2-inspired merchandise.

The products, which launched this week, include items for back-to-school, apparel and home that include toy boxes, car-shaped toddler beds, pillow pals, rugs, and t-shirts.

Upcoming Disney private sales on Gilt Groupe will include offerings based on Winnie the Pooh and The Muppets.
