Donna Friedman Meir, founder of Lemonade Creative Consulting and former National Geographic Kids Entertainment president, has been elected to Children Now’s board of directors.

Meir will apply her development, strategy and marketing expertise to the media policy and expansion efforts of Children Now – a multi-issue research, policy development and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting children’s health and education in California and creating national media policies that support child development.

The goals of Children Now fall in line with Meir’s dedication to the children’s entertainment space. Prior to NGKE, Donna held senior executive positions with the WB Television Network and Nickelodeon. At Nickelodeon, she helped build the Pokemon brand and its successor, Yu-gi-oh!
