In light of British preschool series Peppa Pig launching in the US market, brand-owner Entertainment One (eOne) has created a North American licensing division spearheaded by Jennifer Bennett.

The former CCI Entertainment exec will be stepping into the role of VP of licensing and merchandise for North America and will be based in eOne’s L.A. offices. Her appointment marks the establishment of a US base to drive eOne’s licensing strategy for the Peppa Pig brand in North America, following the broadcast launch of the show this year on Nick Jr. in the US. She will also be responsible for spearheading North American licensing programs for other eOne properties from the TV, film and music divisions.

Bennett brings 15 years of brand management experience to the new role. She was most recently EVP of licensing and brand development for CCI. Prior to that, she served as VP of merchandising and licensing at Alliance Atlantis.
