American Greetings Properties has greenlit production for a second season of its Strawberry Shortcake-inspired series Berry Bitty Adventures.

It looks like a new generation of girls are embracing the 30-year-old Strawberry Shortcake brand, as the CGI-animated series debuted last fall on The Hub to a number-one ranking among girls ages two to five.

As such, 13 episodes have been ordered for the new season that will continue to feature Strawberry Shortcake and her five friends. Additionally, a new character will be introduced into the group. The second season will debut this fall on The Hub.
