AMG Films, a wholly owned division of Florida-based AMG Holdings, has inked a five-year, first-look deal with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment for DVD, TV and digital rights in the US and in select foreign territories.
The first of the films, all of which will be released by Warner Home Video, will be the animated 3D feature The Lion of Judah. The Easter-themed film will hit 1,000 US theaters this spring through a distribution agreement with Rocky Mountain Pictures. The film features the voices Scott Eastwood (Invictus, Gran Torino), Michael Madsen (Donnie Brasco, Reservoir Dogs) and Ernest Borgnine (The Wild Bunch, The Dirty Dozen).
Other films in the AMG pipeline include the animated family feature An African Tale and the live-action film Perfect Wave.
