Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises has sold Mike the Knight to France’s TF1. The new CGI-animated preschool series will air on the broadcaster’s youth programming block TFOU.

The 52 x 12-minute episodes of Mike the Knight, currently in production by Nelvana Studio and HIT Entertainment, are scheduled for delivery this fall. The series takes viewers into the world of castles, quests, dragons and trolls.

Mike the Knight is also set to air in Canada this fall on preschool channel Treehouse, with more international broadcasters to be announced soon. Nelvana Enterprises has broadcast and home entertainment rights to the series in Latin America and France, as well as broadcast rights in the US.  HIT holds the rights in all other territories globally.
