Multimedia conglomerate Zodiak Media Group has officially launched a new kids division that will encompass all of the company’s kids production and distribution entities. Additionally, all TV sales will be combined under one dedicated kids sales team in London.

Zodiak Kids  incorporates Marathon Media, Tele-images Productions, Zodiak Active Kids Entertainment Division and The Foundation, as well as Zodiak Rights Kids & Family TV sales division. These production companies had a combined yearly (2010) output of more than 350 episodes of new programming. Key titles from the division include Totally Spies, Gormiti, Street Football, Sally Bollywood, Waybuloo, Dani’s House, Mister Maker and The Qpiz.

Kids TV sales will be headed up in London by Karen Vermeulen, SVP of global TV sales and co-production, while consumer products and licensing will be carried out by each production company’s own licensing team.
