Entertainment One (eOne) Family has inked three key broadcast deals for the first season of Amberwood Entertainment and One Animations’s 3-D preschool series Rob the Robot.

NRK in Norway, EBS in Korea and Lagardere’s preschool channel, Tiji, in France will all begin airing the series this year.

eOne Family has an exclusive multi-territory sales agency deal with Canadian producer and distributor Amberwood Entertainment, which sees it manage limited  international TV sales of Rob the Robot.

The series, which targets kids ages three to seven, is based on a set of Australian books about a young robot’s ongoing mission to have fun while learning. Production is currently underway on the show’s first season with 26 episodes delivered out of the 52 episodes slated for this year. The show was commissioned by Canada’s TVO Kids, who has already secured a second season commission.
