Social online gaming developer and Moshimonsters.com publisher Mind Candy has launched its first Moshi Monsters toy range in the UK.

The products, from master toy partner Vivid, hit UK shelves last week and include talking monsters, soft toys, collectable figures and backpack buddies.

Many items incorporate codes that unlock extras within the Moshi Monsters website, which is a free-to-play world populated by adoptable pet monsters. One in every three children in the UK has adopted a Moshi Monster.

The initial line will be followed by a second range for fall/winter 2011 that will include interactive feature plush, a playset, games and further collectables. The toy lines join current Moshi Monsters UK products including trading cards, calendars and books.
