Nickelodeon Latin America’s new teen telenovela Grachi (75 x 60 minutes) has been sold to broadcasters throughout the region thanks to distribution partner Comarex.
Deals were closed with broadcasters in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela.
The telenovela, shot on-set and on location in Miami, will be produced in Spanish and customized to Portuguese for Nickelodeon Brazil and is set to premiere during the second quarter of 2011 on Nickelodeon Latin America.
The series’ titular character is a young girl who must learn to use her new-found magical powers all while coping with school, boys and growing up.
