Canadian producer and distributor Amberwood Entertainment has sold the broadcast rights for its newest preschool series Rob the Robot to SVT in Sweden.
The 52 x 11-minute 3-D series follows the adventures of Rob and his friends as they explore the fantastical planets of the Robot Galaxy. The series is currently in production and was commissioned by Canada’s TVOKids. SRC, Knowledge Kids, and Access is also on-board for the property, which has been commissioned for a second season of an additional 52 episodes.
The series is a co-production between Amberwood Entertainment and Singapore’s ONE Animation. It is produced with support from the MDA, CMF, and the Shaw Rocket Fund.
