NFL player Kurt Warner’s Good Sports Gang brand has entered the mobile space with new sports-themed apps for the iPad.

Kurt Warner’s Football 101 for Kids iPad app features the football pro teaching children about football fundamentals. The app was developed by GSG Media, a new multimedia development group spearheaded by recently retired Warner and his wife Brenda. The company is developing a number of electronic products designed to teach problem-solving and critical thinking skills to sports enthusiasts 10 years old and under.

GSG Media’s producing partner is Saint Louis-based Schwartz & Associates Creative, a media company that designs and distributes multi-platform content. The new venture’s products feature the Good Sports Gang, a team of sports ball characters. The next app featuring the GSG characters, Kurt Warner’s (Think Fast!) Scramble, is scheduled for release in February 2011.
