It’s been one year since the Haitian earthquake and to mark the anniversary Nickelodeon is premiering Nick News with Linda Ellerbee: Haiti Rising? Life in the Ruins on January 9. The half-hour special follows the stories of kids living in Haiti, a demographic that makes up nearly half of the total population of the country.

Haiti Rising? Life in the Ruins will show the lives of kids who have struggled to overcome the earthquake’s destruction

Nick News, produced by Lucky Duck Productions, is entering its 20th year and is the longest-running kids’ news show on television.
