In a new round of promotions at its L.A.-based animation studio, Nickelodeon has named Dina Buteyn VP of animation production, Dean Hoff VP of CG production and Jason Stiff VP of post production.

In Buteyn’s new role, she will oversee all production and development production for Nickelodeon’s 2-D animated shows, including SpongeBob SquarePants and T.U.F.F. Puppy. A 13-year vet of Nick’s animation studio, Buteyn has held positions serving as producer for several Nicktoons productions, including Making Fiends, The Penguins of Madagascar and SpongeBob SquarePants.

As VP of CG production, Hoff will manage all the CG shows and core CG animation team. Over the last five years, and most recently as director of CG production and producer, he has helped produce several of Nickelodeon’s CG series including The Penguins of Madagascar, Fanboy and Chum Chum and upcoming new series Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.

For his part, Jason Stiff will be responsible for the management and oversight of the entire post production process and work in conjunction with external vendors, the editorial, sound, production and CG teams. Previously, Stiff served as senior director, overseeing post production for Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. animated series.
