Cookie Jar Entertainment has joined forces with Netflix to make selected kids programming instantly available for viewing via the online video streaming platform.

The long-term deals will allow consumers in the US instant access to four of Cookie Jar’s animated and live-action programs – Busytown, Johnny Test, Metajets and Strawberry Shortcake – totaling roughly 200 half-hours of children’s content.

In Canada, the agreement covers nine titles for a total of more than 500 half-hours and includes Bunch of Munsch, Caillou, Country Mouse City Mouse, Heathcliff, Horseland, Inspector Gadget, Paddington, Wimzie’s House and Zoboomafoo.

Cookie Jar says that with these agreements in hand, the details of which remain confidential, it is actively pursuing additional digital distribution deals worldwide.
