Texas-based media service company Odyssey Pictures is moving into the children’s TV space thanks to a co-development partnership with Foothill Entertainment.

The deal provides funding to specified Foothill projects into next stages of development and also provides a first right of refusal for production funding.

The agreement will initially encompass the Foothill projects Gunk Aliens and My Momtourage and Me. Gunk Aliens is based on a book series published in the UK by HarperCollins Children’s Books, while My Momtourage and Me is an original tween property revolving around the daughter of a famous female pop star.
