The producers of preschool property Numberjacks have launched Numberjacks: Mission to Learn, a web-based learning resource for children.

Developed and produced by London-based Open Mind Productions, Mission to Learn (www.njmtl.co.uk) is a subscription-based service that features math games and audio-visual content. The online experience has been designed to introduce children to the math topics set out in the UK Early Years Foundation Stage and the Primary Curriculum, and helps develop children’s problem solving, counting, number recognition and calculating skills, as well as enhance their knowledge of shapes, measuring, position, patterns and data handling.

The service will charge users a maximum of US$8 per month, with a trial level of access available free of charge. A ‘schools’ version of Mission to Learn is also currently in development, which will equip teachers with video, audio and interactive games for use on an interactive whiteboard.
