Created to help US children’s product manufacturers on a tight budget gain exposure for the 2010 holiday season, Consumer Product Events is hosting a do-it-yourself PR gathering centered around toys, games and children’s products on October 20, 2010 in New York City.

Last-minute spots remain for the event, which allows companies to show sample products directly to new product reporters, editors, freelancers, bloggers and market editors.

The event’s attendees will include press outlets like Parents, Playthings, ToyBook, ToyMaker and AOL, whose reps will be scouring for new products to include in upcoming holiday gift guides. Roughly 30 products will be chosen to be part of the showcase. To submit a product for consideration email kristina@consumerproductevents.com with the subject line ‘Kids Product for Consideration’ or call 310-317-1543.
