New York-based branded entertainment company Big Tent Entertainment has appointed Stella Projects as the Australian licensing agent for its fashion and viral property Domo.

Stella Projects will introduce the Domo brand in Australia and New Zealand through an array of licensing, marketing and promotional agreements aimed at furthering consumer awareness and demand for branded products.

The initial program will focus on replicating the success of Domo – the mascot for Japanese public broadcaster NHK – as well as pursuing cross-promotional opportunities with Nickelodeon AU to help maximize awareness for the Domo interstitials currently airing on the network. Stella Projects will also secure licensing partners for the brand within the apparel, bags, fashion accessories, gaming accessories, music and stationery/giftware categories for distribution at specialty and convenience retailers such as Jay Jays. The Domo program will be accompanied by the launch of an extensive viral campaign.
