Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, is partnering with music and video distributor The Orchard.

The deal will utilize all of The Orchard’s services (digital and mobile distribution, digital marketing, song placement and synchronization, royaltycollections, mechanical administration) to make Sesame Street recordings.

More than 1,500 audio files will make up a global catalogue, including songs that have been performed on the show, along with classic like Cookie Monster’s ‘C is for Cookie’ and Ernie’s ‘Rubber Duckie.’

Additionally, Orchard clients will remix classic Sesame Street Songs.
