Nick-branded block hits the Ukraine

MTV Networks International (MTVNI) is launching an inaugural Nickelodeon programming block in the Ukraine that will include more than 800 half-hour episodes of animated Nick content such as SpongeBob SquarePants and The Penguins of Madagascar.

MTV Networks International (MTVNI) is launching an inaugural Nickelodeon programming block in the Ukraine that will include more than 800 half-hour episodes of animated Nick content such as SpongeBob SquarePants and The Penguins of Madagascar.

The series will be localized for Ukrainian audiences and will air daily on cable TV channel QTV and on weekends on STB, one the Ukraine’s terrestrial broadcasters. Both QTV and STB are a part of the StarLightMedia Group.

Nickelodeon anticipates that the Ukraine deal will greatly augment and complement its growing portfolio of localized Nickelodeon services.
