JTMG picks up L&M rights to Total Drama series

Toronto, Canada's Fresh TV and distributor Cake Entertainment in London have appointed Joy Tashjian Marketing Group (JTMG) to handle the North American L&M campaign for their Total Drama franchise.

Toronto, Canada’s Fresh TV and distributor Cake Entertainment in London have appointed Joy Tashjian Marketing Group (JTMG) to handle the North American L&M campaign for their Total Drama franchise.

Two TD series currently air on Cartoon Network US and Teletoon Canada and JTMG will be the exclusive licensing agent for Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action, as well as Total Drama Reloaded, which is slated to hit Cartoon Network in 2011.

Total Drama is a tween-targeted animated comic property that parodies reality television formats including the challenges, rules, surprise catches, romances, alliances, back-stabbing, eliminations and confessions. Total Drama Island (26 x half hours) and Total Drama Action (26 x half hours), the first and second season of the series, feature a group of teenage contestants who enter into a Survivor-type show to win prize money.

Fresh TV created, developed and produced the Total Drama series, while Cake Entertainment handles the worldwide distribution and global merchandising.
