Sakkalli will be responsible for finding new properties for the distributor to develop across all platforms, along with seeking out broadcast partners for new and existing properties in the pan-Asia region and driving sales for Mango’s portfolio.

Working from Singapore, Sakkalli reports to company directors Wayne Dearing (Top Draw animation) and Donna Andrews (Sticky Pictures and also Mango sales manager Australia, New Zealand).

Sakkalli has garnered more than 14 years of sales experience in the Asia and Middle East regions via his work with Power TV, ITV and Granada International, including many family and kids properties such as Pocoyo, Creature Comforts, Worst Witch and Enjie Benjie.

In related news, Mango has inked a sale for its new property Invisible Network of Kids (26 x 24-minutes) to ABC3 in Australia. I.N.K. is an action-comedy series for kids ages six to 10 about a secret kid network charged with protecting their school. It’s a co-production between Samka Productions (France) and France 3.
