People moves: BabyTV appoints digital media sales manager

BabyTV, the multiplatform channel for infants and toddlers, has appointed Keith O'Brien as sales manager, non-linear digital media.

BabyTV, the multiplatform channel for infants and toddlers, has appointed Keith O’Brien as sales manager, non-linear digital media.

O’Brien will join BabyTV’s licensing division and will be in charge of managing the commercial development of the BabyTV brand worldwide across non-linear digital media including (S)VOD, video search platforms, smart phone, mobile, syndication, gaming and social networking sites.

O’Brien’s TV and digital industry experience comes from a stint at Sony Pictures Television as a sales executive, where he was distributing and licensing feature films and TV series to broadcasters. Prior to this, O’Brien worked as an analyst at Informa Telecoms & Media writing business intelligent reports on the TV, music, and film and games industries.

His appointment comes as BabyTV continues to tailor its programming packages for new and emerging media platforms.
