Canadian broadcasters TVO, SRC and the Bell New media fund have joined forces to support the development of CCI Entertainment’s new children’s series Jerry and the Raiders.

Jerry and the Raiders, a collaboration between CCI, First Star Studios and Fake Studio, is an animated comedy/adventure series that mixes 3-D motion-capture and video-game technology.

Targeting kids four to eight, the series details the adventures of Jerry and two toy action figures who come-to-life as they struggle to solve ecological crimes and mysteries as well as save the Earth from a conspiratorial plot.

With the commitment from TVO, CCI is currently exploring a variety of financing opportunities.
