Global Sesame Street content hits Amazon VOD

Sesame Street is making free episodes of original international content available to US viewers exclusively on Amazon Video On Demand.

The deal allows Amazon customers to watch individual episodes of international Sesame Street co-productions in their entirety. Highlights of programs that will be available on Amazon Video On Demand include Takalani Sesame (South Africa), Sesame Tree (Northern Ireland), Galli Galli Sim Sim (India) and Alam SimSim (Egypt).

Amazon Video On Demand also allows viewers to watch co-productions from Bangladesh, Brazil, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Palestine and Russia. This partnership furthers Sesame Workshop’s goal to present children with educational messages through multi-media platforms. Sesame Workshop programming is currently aired in more than 140 countries.
