Nickelodeon Germany acquires Shaftesbury’s Connor Undercover

Shaftesbury Sales Company, the distribution arm of Toronto, Canada-based Shaftesbury Films, has sold both seasons of its popular Connor Undercover live-action adventure series for kids (39 x 30-minutes) to Nickelodeon Germany.

Shaftesbury Sales Company, the distribution arm of Toronto, Canada-based Shaftesbury Films, has sold both seasons of its popular Connor Undercover live-action adventure series for kids (39 x 30-minutes) to Nickelodeon Germany. This marks Shaftesbury’s first acquisition deal with Nickelodeon Germany, which reaches 38.6 million homes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via free-to-air DTT and cable. The series will premiere on August 22.

Targeted at tweens, Connor Undercover follows the adventures of 15-year-old spy buff Connor Heath, whose life is kicked into overdrive when the first daughter of the leader of a small island nation is sent to live with his family to escape political danger at home.

Shaftesbury Sales Company holds international sales and distribution rights for Connor Undercover, which is broadcast on ABC in Australia, Boomerang in Latin America, Gulli in France, VRT in Belgium and is represented by Daro in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.
