Animated children’s series the WotWots is making its way to Baraem TV, the dedicated preschool screen of Al Jazeera Children’s Channel. The 52 x 10 minute series is scheduled to air in a prime time slot in 2011.

Launched in New Zealand on TVNZ in 2009, the WotWots hit Canada on Treehouse in February 2010 and will make its US debut on Discovery/Hasbro kidnet The Hub, which launches this October.

Produced by Pukeko Pictures and made at Richard Taylor’s Weta Workshop, the series follows the adventures of two alien siblings, who come to explore Earth in their steam-powered spaceship and arrive in the middle of a zoo.
