Supergirl kicks off branded events, clothing line

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, together with DC Comics and sports event producer ASA Entertainment, have released the dates for the 2010 Supergirl Jam event series, which will feature more than 100 top female athletes competing in surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and inline skating.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, together with DC Comics and sports event producer ASA Entertainment, have released the dates for the 2010 Supergirl Jam event series, which will feature more than 100 top female athletes competing in surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and inline skating.

The all-girls action sports competition is designed to celebrate female strength and will kick-off with three events running on June 30, August 14 and August 22 in California.

Additional surfing and snowboarding contests in November and December are also being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Accompanying the series is the Supergirl by Nastia girls’ apparel line, a collaboration between Warner Bros., JCPenney and Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, available exclusively at JCPenney locations nationwide beginning July 20. JCPenney is also a sponsor of this year’s Supergirl Jam.
