Marriott International and Nickelodeon are teaming to offer a new family travel promotion at roughly 2,000 participating hotels across the US and Canada starting July 1 running through December 26, 2010.

Families participating in the Nickelodeon Your Stay offer, which will be available at Marriott-branded hotels such as JW Marriott, Marriott, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, Springhill Suites and TownePlace Suites, will receive a bracelet with an online code to access an exclusive SpongeBob SquarePants game on Nick.com, an activity book and Nickelodeon-branded placemats during meal times.

Additionally, parents can upgrade their experience by booking a Nickelodeon Your Stay package, which will include items such as a SpongeBob SquarePants activity bag, a splash ball, Nickelodeon sun glasses and a 3-D build-your-own SpongeBob craft.

In the same vein, ParentsConnect.com, Nickelodeon’s online parenting community, is launching a new travel-focused feature on the site this summer that will make the trip planning process more family-friendly through focused travel content and travel games for kids.

The promotion was strategically designed around research that found the main sources of stress for parents when travelling with kids included planning, arrival, down time, meals and bedtime.
