India's DQ Entertainment (DQE) has inked a global publishing deal for its copro The Jungle Book with Hachette livre for the French language.

India’s DQ Entertainment (DQE) has inked a global publishing deal for its copro The Jungle Book with Hachette livre for the French language.

Under the agreement, Hachette holds publishing rights to the The Jungle Book for story books, activity books, novelty books, workbooks and home learning aids, chapter books-novelizations and ebooks.

Distribution channels for the resulting products include book retailers, comic book stores, department stores, mail order catalogues, mass market, trade and wholesale outlets and book clubs, toy stores, direct sales and catalogue and specialty retailers.

Hachette Livre is the largest French-language publisher in the world and part of Lagardère Media.
