BRB, Aardman and Voozclub team up for Canimals

Three animation and distribution houses from Korea, Spain and the UK have come together to co-produce and distribute the mixed-media 52 x seven-minute kids series Canimals. Aardman Animations is joining forces with Voozclub and BRB's creative Boutique, Screen 21, on the original series, which will debut at MIPTV next month.

Three animation and distribution houses from Korea, Spain and the UK have come together to co-produce and distribute the mixed-media 52 x seven-minute kids series Canimals. Aardman Animations is joining forces with Voozclub and BRB’s creative Boutique, Screen 21, on the original series, which will debut at MIPTV next month.

Canimals depicts the high-energy adventures of several can-shaped, CGI animals that get up to all kinds of mischief in the real, live-action world.

Aardman will lead the scripting and voicing of the series, while Voozclub and BRB will manage the design, animation and sound production. The three companies will be talking to potential partners for the project in order to premiere the series end of 2010.
