Zinkia/ITV Studios preschool series Pocoyo will be getting a push State-side this fall thanks to a new master toy deal with Bandai America.

While the series has been broadcast in more that 100 territories worldwide since its mid-decade launch, 2010 marks its major push into the US market.

Along with pickups by pubcaster PBS’s affiliates and broadcaster Univision, Bandai America will put a Pocoyo toy line on US retail shelves this fall. The initial range includes plush, bath toys, a bath playset and an electronic car.

Madrid-based Zinkia also launched virtual universe Pocoyoworld.com based on the 104 x seven-minute CGI series last October that will no doubt help fuel merch and marketing efforts.
