CBBC, Nick Aus, Ten and ZDF have greenlit a new live-action UK/Australian co-pro that’s heading into production in Sydney this summer.

Me and My Monsters (26 x half hours) is a co-pro with Tiger Aspect, The Jim Henson Company and Sticky Pictures in association with Baker Coogan Productions. It was commissioned by CBBC, ZDF (Germany), Network Ten and Nickelodeon Australia, with BBC Worldwide handling distribution.

The series tells the story of the Carlson family, which has recently relocated from Australia to the UK to discover three out-of-control and hilarious monsters living in its basement. The comedy stars human actors and three monster puppets developed by the Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. It’s executive produced by Tiger Aspect’s Greg Brenman and Rebecca de Souza, The Jim Henson Company’s Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford, and Donna Andrews of Sticky Pictures. Sticky Pictures and Baker Coogan Productions will produce.
