People moves: FME taps Wildbrain exec for new kids division

Working with Sander Schwartz on the new children's and family entertainment division of FremantleMedia Enterprises will be former Wildbrain exec Bob Higgins.

Working with Sander Schwartz on the new children’s and family entertainment division of FremantleMedia Enterprises will be former Wildbrain exec Bob Higgins.

He’ll be working with Schwartz to plan and carry out the overall creative vision for FME’s new biz, along with managing content, including acquisitions, development and sales of both global TV and digital programming. Higgins will also work with producers, third parties and broadcasters to deliver innovative content with strong commercial potential across a range of revenue streams, as well as working with FME global network of sales, licensing and marketing execs.

Higgins comes to FME from Wildbrain, where he worked as head of creative,an assembled a slate of properties, including HBO’s upcoming The Ricky Gervais Show and Team Smithereen. He’s also held senior roles at Cartoon Network, Classic Media and Sony Pictures Family Entertainment.
