Following the success of Peppa Pig – The Game for the Nintendo DS in 2008, London-based P2 Games is rolling out the sequel, Peppa Pig – Fun and Games on March 26, 2010.
The first title, based on the property from E1 Entertainment and Astley Baker Davies, sold more than 200,000 copies. The new DS title targets boys and girls from ages three to seven years to explore Peppa’s world with 10 mini-games to help develop counting, number and creative skills.
P2 Games will back the release with an extensive marketing campaign that includes TV, print and online advertising as well as significant in-store retailer support. P2 will also work with Peppa Pig licensing partners on joint marketing initiatives for cross-promo opps. Ubisoft Entertainment will handle UK distribution of the title.
