As SpongeBob’s 10th anniversary come to a close, global activity surrounding the brand continues.

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products is teaming up with German games maker Schmidt Spiele to develop a duo of brand new SpongeBob games. Mensh Argere Dich Nicht and Kniffel will be available from January 1, 2010 across Austria, Germany and Switzerland at all good toy shops, department stores and online shops.

On the broadcast side, NRK (Norway) and RSI (Switzerland) have snapped up new seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants. Over in China, CCTV picked up seasons five and six, while Uruguay’s Teledoce will be airing new eps from early 2010.
