Agoura Hills, California-based THQ and DreamWorks Animation have joined forces on a multi-year, multi-property licensing deal that will see the gameco taking on the exclusive worldwide rights to develop and publish titles based on DWA’s upcoming animated slate.

These include feature film properties Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom (June 3, 2011), Puss In Boots (November 4, 2011), and TV-based The Penguins of Madagascar (April 1, 2010). THQ will be publishing interactive games for all console and handheld systems, including in the download space, i.e. Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, Nintendo Wii Virtual Console and wireless devices.

This follows its previous announcement that it will also publish games based on the animated feature MegaMind for a November 5, 2010 release.
