As retailers everywhere prep for the upcoming holiday shopping season, specialty retailer FAO Schwarz will be getting its own branded toy boutiques in 585 Toys ‘R’ Us stores across the US on November 1.

They’ll be located at the front of TRU locations, featuring overhead signage and life-sized displays of FAO’s iconic toy soldier, and carrying classic FAO toys ranging in price from US$2.99 to US$64.99.

Meanwhile, the company has also relaunched its e-commerce site at www.FAO.com for shoppers to browse the full FAO toy offering. The site includes shopping bags and a Wish List app for parents and kids to create a personalized list of toys that can be shared with family and friends.

The annual FAO Schwarz Holiday Catalog will be published and delivered nationwide beginning November 10, featuring a selection of toys at a number of price points.

TRU acquired FAO this past May.
