Helming the new position of VP, creative, consumer marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment is Randy Nellis. He’ll be overseeing creative development for global licensing and promo programs across the studio’s portfolio, including Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Smurfs and Spider-Man 4.

Nellis comes to Sony from MGM Studios Consumer Products Group, where he served as VP, creative and led the re-branding of The Pink Panther and Fame. He also boasts consumer products experience at DreamWorks, where he managed top franchises such as Jurassic Park and E.T.
