Girl-targeted virtual world brand Brit Chicks is moving east, as London-based Target Entertainment Group has tapped Empire International Merchandising as the property’s agent in Asia.
Empire, headquartered in Manila, Philippines, will rep the fashion and lifestyle brand in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. The agency will be focusing on apparel and accessories, stationery and paper goods, footwear, bags, gifts and novelties, publishing, wireless/digital downloads for the first year of the three-year deal.
In October 2009 the Brit Chicks virtual world (www.britchicks.com) launches, offering girls a place to make friends, chat and share adventures. The Brit Chicks will be on-hand to welcome and guide new members through every step of the Britchicks.com experience, which will be loaded with fashion, music and fun.
Brit Chicks is owned by UK-based Brand Champions.
