MIP is fast approaching and New York-based Little Airplane Productions has been keeping busy, prepping a duo of new in-house-developed preschool series for their debut at the market.

Short-form series Small Potatoes! (10 x two minutes) follows a foursome of potatoes that sings songs and embarks on imaginary journeys, exploring a new musical style in each ep.

Jo B. G. Raff! (26 x 11 minutes), meanwhile, revolves around two best friends, Jo B. and G. Raff that co-host their own preschool show in which G. Raff always takes off right before show time and Jo B. has to travel to faraway places to find him. The pair ends up performing the show in various locales, from the moon to under the sea. Focusing on friendship and the reconciliation of differing perspectives, the series is being executed in an animation style that gives the characters the texture of real stuffed toys.

The music for both series will be produced by Little Airplane’s Jeffrey Lesser, and were conceived by founder and president Josh Selig.
