Good ole Charlie Brown is turning 60 in 2010, and to mark the occasion, licensing agent CPLG is championing United Media’s efforts in the UK with a multi-layered marketing campaign that will include commemorative products and exclusive retail partnerships.
There’s a new logo and a special anniversary style guide, which include new packaging treatments and design inspiration for new and existing UK licensees, plus a Then & Now vintage production theme that is inspiring product rolling out in December 2009.
For example, Rainbow Designs is currently developing a limited edition range of products, including a Snoopy Anniversary notebook and mug and a collectable Snoopy in a keepsake display box.
CPLG is has also signed on new licensees, including BC International for men’s and women’s nightwear and 7+ underwear and Staples Disposables for tissues, kitchen towels and wet wipes. Other new licensee announcements are in the works.
