Along with its Asian licensing agent Click, Chorion has been building up promo and licensing deals for Mr. Men and Little Miss in South East Asia and Greater China.
An exclusive range of children’s and teen apparel will launch in 35 locations of Shoemart Department Store in the Philippines this September. A separate deal with Neat Inc. also sees Shoemart offering Banana Peel Mr. Men and Little Miss flip-flops, which are also available at Banana Peel stores.
And in Singapore, 7-Eleven stores are selling a series of 10 collectable Mr. Men and Little Miss cell phone danglers. Consumers who collect the entire set can win limited-edition Mr. Strong and Little Miss Naughty plush toys.
Earlier in April, Biscuits World launched a high-profile promo campaign for Mr. Men-branded biscuits on 12-meter-long signs that cruised around on Singapore buses for three months.
