It’s the 75th anniversary of The Lone Ranger and Classic Media has brought a load of new licensing partners on-board for brand new-program inspired by the classic character.

New licensees include Now & Zen (apparel, department and specialty stores), Lionel Trains (collectible train set, this year), and Disguise (Halloween costumes and accessories, 2010). On the publishing front, Lone Ranger #17 will hit retail shelves on July 29 and Volume III of the contemporary Lone Ranger graphic novel from Dynamite Entertainment will also be released this year.

Classic also launched branded live events at historic US railroads last year, and it will continue this year in Texas, Colorado and North Carolina. It’s also recently released The Lone Ranger 75th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 12-disc DVD box set.
