A range of exclusive Planet Color-branded kids apparel, based on the property from children’s author Todd Parr, is hitting the racks at US department store Nordstrom this summer, thanks to an exclusive deal struck by SupperTime Entertainment.

The Pacific Palisades, California-based company reps the publishing property created by author and illustrator Todd Parr, who also penned picture books The Mommy Book and The I Love You Book. US manufacturer Jen’s Ideas produced the apparel collections for girls and boys from 18 months to six years old, and will be available at the US department store in the Midwest and Northeastern regions.

With the tagline ‘Peace. Love. Color,’ the apparel collection of tees, thermals, embroidered baseball caps and dresses will have POP display and in-store signage at Nordstrom, and Parr is also scheduled to appear in four Chicago-area stores to read, draw and autograph books. Online activities include banner advertising on parenting site www.juiceboxjungle.com along with short-form videos for its more than six million monthly visitors, as online activities at Todd Parr’s site (www.toddparr.com) and other various social networks and mommy blogs.
