Burger King builds up Transformers QSR promo

Two days ahead of the big screen launch of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Burger King has kicked off its Transform Your Way promo game, which gives its customers the chance to win thousands of prizes.

Two days ahead of the big screen launch of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Burger King has kicked off its Transform Your Way promo game, which gives its customers the chance to win thousands of prizes.

The prizes include food items and big-ticket items such as US$1 million and a new Chevy Camaro. Game pieces, available on specially marked menu items while supplies last, offer a prize under one of the two scratch-off areas.

Fans logging on to www.bktransformers.com also have the chance to win US$10,000 by registering and entering their game piece codes to search on a virtual globe for a BK-branded King Robot, between June 22 to July 19.

Meal-wise, the restaurant is also offering the BK BBQ Double Stackticon burger for a limited time (SRP US$2.79), which lets guests stack multiple burger patties, bacon, sauce and cheese similar to Transformers robots. BK is also offering the Triple Stackticon burger (SRP US$3.49) and the Quad Stackticon burger (SRP US$4.29).

Also, each BK Kids Meal will include one of eight Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toys that are based on scenes from the movie.

The kid-targeted promo is being supported by a TV ad push directed by the film’s director Michael Bay.
